Your AIUGCs questions, answered

Everything you need to know about earning on AIUGCs. Submissions, reviews, payouts and more, all in one place.

Getting Started

How does AIUGCs work?

Brands post bounties: short ad briefs with a payout. Creators use AI tools to produce the ad to spec and submit it. Once the brand approves, they pay out and take ownership of the finished ad.

Where can I find bounties to work on?

All open bounties live at /bounties. New ones land daily, so bookmark the page and check back regularly.

What exactly is a bounty?

A bounty is a paid ad brief. The brand sets the format (video, image, or social post copy), the length, the budget, and an optional script or reference. Creators read it, decide if they can hit the brief, and submit a finished ad. Approved submissions get paid the listed amount.

Do I need to be an AI creator to use AIUGCs?

Yes. AIUGCs is built around AI-assisted production. You'll use AI tools (image, video, voice generation) to make the ad to brief. If you're not comfortable working with AI tools, this platform won't be a fit.

How much can I realistically earn?

Minimum bounty payout is $80; the highest sit between $350 and $500. An active creator working bounties most days realistically earns $1,000 to $3,000 per month, often $2,000+.

Do I keep the rights to videos I create?

No. Once you've been paid, the ad becomes the intellectual property of the brand. You can include it in your portfolio as work you've done, but you can't post it on your own social accounts or use it commercially.

Submissions

How do I submit a video?

Open the bounty you want to claim, click "Claim bounty", and upload your ad. Add a short note if anything about the take needs context. The brand will review it within a few days.

How many videos can I submit for one bounty?

As many as you like, up to the bounty's budget. Each approved submission pays the listed amount; once the budget is spent, the bounty closes to new submissions.

Can I submit a video I've already posted?

Yes, if it was originally made for this brief. Re-using AI generations or footage that wasn't made for the bounty will usually be rejected. Brands are paying for new, on-brief work.

What makes a submission more likely to be approved?

Hit the brief exactly, match the reference style, keep the ad crisp (good audio, stable framing, correct aspect ratio), and don't over-stuff branding. Brands approve work that looks polished and on-brand.

Can I edit a submission after sending it?

Once a submission is in review you can't edit it, but you can submit a new version. If the bounty allows revisions, the brand may also reply with notes asking you to retry.

What video file formats are supported?

MP4 and MOV are recommended. Max file size is 500MB per upload. Videos longer than the brief's length will be auto-rejected, so trim before uploading.

What aspect ratio should I shoot in?

Whatever the brief specifies. Most short-form ads are vertical 9:16; some briefs ask for square 1:1 or landscape 16:9. Submissions in the wrong aspect ratio are usually rejected because they can't be used as-is.

Can I use copyrighted music?

No. Stick to royalty-free tracks, original audio, or AI-generated audio. Submissions with copyrighted music will be rejected because brands can't run them as ads.

Should I add a watermark or logo?

Only if the brief specifically asks. Most brands prefer clean footage so they can add their own end-card or text overlay before running the ad.

Do I have to actually post the video on my socials?

No. Once the brand pays, the ad is theirs to run however they choose. You're paid to create the asset, not to publish it.

What platforms can I create for?

Mainly ads. Meta ads are most common, with TikTok and YouTube also frequent. The brand specifies the destination in the brief; you just make the ad to fit.

Reviews

Why was my video rejected?

Common reasons: doesn't match the brief, low production quality, wrong format or length, or off-brand. The rejection note will tell you which.

How long does review take?

Most brands review within 48 hours. If you're still waiting after 5 working days, ping us at aiugcsadmin@gmail.com and we'll nudge them.

Can I appeal a rejected submission?

Yes. Reply to the rejection note in the submission thread with your reasoning. If we agree the rejection was unfair, we'll over-ride it and pay you out. Spam appeals will get your account warned.

What does the "pending" status mean?

Pending means the brand has received your submission but hasn't reviewed it yet. No action needed from you. Sit tight and you'll get a notification when the status changes.

Can I see what other creators submitted?

No. Submissions are private to the creator and the brand until the brand chooses to publish them publicly. We don't want to bias the creative pool.

Earnings & Payouts

When do I get paid?

As soon as your submission is approved, the payout is queued. Funds land in your connected Stripe account within 1–3 working days.

Is there a fee on payouts?

AIUGCs takes a flat 15% platform fee from the payout. Stripe may add its own processing fees on top, usually around 2–3%.

What is a max payout?

Some bounties cap the total a single creator can earn from one campaign. The cap is shown on the bounty page. Once you hit it, you can still submit but won't be paid for further approvals.

Is there a minimum payout amount?

No minimum on our side. Every approved submission triggers a payout. The smallest bounties on the platform start at $80, so that's effectively the floor.

What currency are payouts in?

Payouts are denominated in USD. Stripe will convert to your local currency at the prevailing market rate when funds land in your account.

Can I get paid in crypto?

Not yet. We're evaluating USDC payouts via Stripe, likely live later this year.

Do I owe taxes on what I earn?

Yes. Payouts are income. AIUGCs doesn't withhold taxes. You'll receive an annual earnings statement you can hand to your accountant. US creators earning over $600/year will get a 1099 from our payment processor.

My payout shows "failed". What now?

Almost always means your linked Stripe account is missing info (verification, bank details). Open Settings → Payouts and follow the red prompt; once fixed, the payout retries automatically.

Account & Linking

Can I change my creator handle?

Yes. Settings → Profile → Handle. Old payout records keep your previous handle attached, but new bounties will show the new one.

How do I delete my account?

Email aiugcsadmin@gmail.com and we'll wipe your profile within 7 days. Submissions you've already been paid for stay on the brand's side. They own the license.

Does AIUGCs support two-factor authentication?

Yes. Settings → Security → 2FA. We strongly recommend enabling it, especially once you've linked a payout account.
